Applied Zen's primary Instructor (Jason Armstrong, Ph.D.) has:

- worked in venture capital
- has 20+ years of martial arts experience & has lived in Japan with a master
- has a Ph.D. eductaion from the USA
As a company we operate both in California and Australia with our headquarters at the Innovation Centre Sunshine Coast - a business technology park incubator. The Innovation Centre is the commercial arm of the University of the Sunshine Coast, which is backed by private business and all three levels of Government in Australia. We focus on corporate development and online education. Corporate development is carried out through workshops and business retreats as well as online video courses for download.
